What is Nanoplasty

Nanoplasty is a next-generation smoothing and hair-repair treatment designed to deeply nourish, strengthen and smooth the hair — without harsh chemicals.

Unlike traditional straightening treatments, Nanoplasty works by infusing the hair with amino acids, proteins and vitamins that penetrate the hair fibre on a nano level (tiny particles that work from the inside out). The result? Hair that looks healthier, shinier, smoother and easier to manage, while still feeling natural.

This treatment is perfect for anyone wanting to reduce frizz, improve hair texture and restore softness — without compromising hair health.

What is Keratin

Keratin smoothing is a hair-smoothing treatment designed to reduce frizz, add shine and make hair more manageable.

Keratin is a natural protein found in hair, and during a keratin treatment, this protein is applied to the hair to coat and smooth the outer layer (cuticle). Heat is then used to seal the keratin in, creating a smoother, sleeker finish.

The result is hair that looks:
Shinier
Smoother
Less frizzy
Easier to style

Keratin smoothing is often chosen by clients who want a polished, sleek look and reduced daily styling time.

What’s the difference ?

  • While both treatments smooth the hair and reduce frizz, they work in very different ways.

Keratin smoothing works mainly on the outside of the hair, coating and sealing the cuticle to create a smoother, shinier appearance.

Nanoplasty works inside the hair fibre, using amino acids, proteins and vitamins to rebuild, strengthen and smooth the hair from within.

    In simple terms:

    • Keratin improves how the hair looks

    • Nanoplasty improves how the hair feels and behaves long-term

  • Keratin is best for clients who:

    • Want visible frizz control and shine

    • Love a sleek, polished finish

    • Have thick, coarse or unruly hair

    • Want easier styling in the short term

  • Nanoplasty is best for clients who:

    • Want healthier hair long-term

    • Have damaged, dry or chemically treated hair

    • Prefer a softer, more natural finish

    • Want longer-lasting results without compromising hair health

  • During your consultation, we assess:

    • Hair history and chemical services

    • Current hair condition

    • Lifestyle and styling habits

    • Desired finish and maintenance level

We’ll always recommend the treatment that delivers the best result while protecting the health of your hair.

  • Nanoplasty generally lasts longer.

    • Keratin: approximately 2–4 months

    • Nanoplasty: approximately 4–6 months

Longevity depends on hair type, home care, frequency of washing and heat styling.

  • Nanoplasty is the better option for damaged, over-processed or chemically treated hair.

Because it works internally to strengthen and repair the hair fibre, Nanoplasty is ideal for:

    • Blonde hair

    • Coloured or highlighted hair

    • Hair that feels dry, brittle or weak

    • Hair prone to breakage

Keratin focuses more on surface smoothness rather than repair.

  • This depends on the product used.

    • Some Keratin treatments require a waiting period

    • Nanoplasty usually allows washing sooner

Your stylist will give you personalised aftercare instructions.

  • Both treatments reduce frizz, but in different ways.

    • Keratin smooths frizz by sealing the cuticle

    • Nanoplasty reduces frizz by improving the hair’s internal structure, making it naturally smoother and stronger

If frizz is caused by damage or dryness, Nanoplasty is usually the better option.

  • Keratin is often chosen for short-term humidity control, especially for clients travelling or entering humid seasons.

Nanoplasty offers longer-term humidity resistance because the hair fibre itself is healthier and more balanced.
