During this specific consult, we will explain service expectations in line with your desired result. We will then provide you with a quote and the expected time required to complete the service. A strand test will be taken to ensure your hair is compatible and must be performed no less than 48 hours before the Nanoplasty service. Cost of consultation will be deducted from the Nanoplasty service. Please allow 15 minutes.

What is Keratin

Keratin smoothing is a hair-smoothing treatment designed to reduce frizz, add shine and make hair more manageable.

Keratin is a natural protein found in hair, and during a keratin treatment, this protein is applied to the hair to coat and smooth the outer layer (cuticle). Heat is then used to seal the keratin in, creating a smoother, sleeker finish.

The result is hair that looks:

Keratin smoothing is often chosen by clients who want a polished, sleek look and reduced daily styling time.

Natural waves and curls remain if left to dry naturally, this is not a straightening treatment. Flat Irons may still be required, depending on how curly/wavy or frizzy your hair was to start.

While both treatments smooth the hair and reduce frizz, they work in very different ways.
Keratin smoothing works mainly on the outside of the hair, coating and sealing the cuticle to create a smoother, shinier appearance.
Nanoplasty works inside the hair fibre, using amino acids, proteins and vitamins to rebuild, strengthen and smooth the hair from within.

Nanoplasty is the better option for damaged, over-processed or chemically treated hair.
