CANCELLATION POLICY

Union Jacks Hair Professionals requires a deposit to secure bookings. This is non-refundable should you cancel or reschedule inside of 36 hours’ notice of your booked appointment.

 

Deposits for rescheduled appointments will be transferred over to your future booking, cancelled appointments will be refunded immediately (providing within the 36 hr time period).

Failing to turn up to an appointment will require a 100% upfront payment on any future services you wish to book.

PLEASE NOTE, if we have not received confirmation of your attendance 24 hrs ahead of your appointment time, we will attempt to reach you via all of your provided communication methods.  If in the unfortunate event we cannot reach you, we will need to cancel the reserved time slot of your appointment.

CHANGE OF SERVICE

At Union Jacks Hair Professionals, your satisfaction is our top priority. To ensure your experience is exceptional and our stylists can deliver their best work, we kindly ask for your understanding regarding changes and cancellations to your appointments.

Clear Communication for a Smooth Experience:

  • Planned Adjustments: If you wish to modify your service (e.g., haircut only instead of haircut & blow dry, tint instead of foils & tint), please inform us at least 36 hours in advance. This allows us to adjust the schedule and ensure your stylist is fully prepared for your desired service.

  • Unexpected Changes: Life throws curveballs. If you need to cancel entirely, kindly give us at least 36 hours notice. This helps us rebook the slot and avoid last-minute disruptions.

  • Missed Reminders: While we send courtesy reminders, please note that forgetting to respond will be considered a late cancellation and subject to the same policy.
     

Unforeseen Circumstances:

  • Honesty Appreciated: We understand that unforeseen events like illness can arise. If you cannot provide the required notice due to such circumstances, please get in touch ASAP. We'll do our best to accommodate you while maintaining fairness for all clients.
     

Change of Heart:

  • Transparency Matters: While we're always happy to help, please understand that last-minute changes due to a change of mind might impact the service we can offer and may incur an additional charge.
     

Examples:

  • Booking a haircut and blow dry, but on the day deciding you only want the haircut: Please inform us 36 hoursin advance. This allows us to adjust the service time and allocate the blow dry slot to another client.

  • Changing your colour choice from foils and tint to just tint: With 36 hours notice, we can ensure your stylist has the necessary colour prepped and ready.

  • Sudden illness requiring cancellation: Reach out as soon as possible. We'll do our best to accommodate while being mindful of other appointments.
     

Remember: Clear communication is essential! By notifying us promptly about changes or cancellations, you help us maintain a smooth-running salon and ensure a positive experience for everyone.
